From ''The Crack In The Cosmic Egg'': Austrian Klaus Weiss (former Friedrich Gulda musician and leader of his own orchestra) moved to Munich in the early-70's. Himself a drummer, he became fascinated with the possibility of creating a drum orchestra out of the wealth of Munich drummers, thus Niagara was born featuring percussionists from all backgrounds. With just one track per side the (1971) debut NIAGARA offered an energetic and highly charged percussion music combining rock, jazz and African cultures into a most complex music. Obviously, such an album was destined to very limited appeal and thus further Niagara offerings featured other instruments turning Niagara into a percussive fronted fusion band, in the realms of Embryo and Passport, but with a much bigger jazz-groove sound.
Feat. Klaus Weiss, Cotch Blackmon, Keith Forsey, Juan Romero,
Udo Lindenberg, Danny Fichelscher, George Green and others.

item location is Switzerland - shipping is not $4.00
do not use automated checkout - wait for adjusted invoice
Unfortunately eBay does not expect international sellers listing directly on their site. The automated system is flawed and uses a predetermined maximum shipping cost of $4.00 which is not correct. It is not possible to post a 12″ record from Europe to the US - or anywhere else - for that price.
Please check the correct postage rates for 12-inch records below.
