Newcastle Big Band. Self Titled. LP Impulse IS.NBB.106 UK 1972 . EX/EX

Sting's first ever appearance on record captured here on a limited pressing of 2000 copies only from 1972. 8 track vinyl LP features one Gordon Sumner aka Sting on bass on all tracks - before he left Newcastle to become famous as bass player and singer with The Police. This highly collectable item on the Impulse label features live recordings from 2 concerts - the Pau Jazz Festival in France and the University Theatre, Newcastle. Stamped Special Issue - white label - ISNBB106. 

Item still in absolutely beautiful shape with only the lightest signs of careful use. Cover still very smart. There is some very faint storage wear and some very minor scuffing on the top left hand corner. Record still beautiful and plays as new. When studied under a very bright lamp there is one very faint surface mark but this doesn't effect the sound in any way and is merely superficial
