THE UNDERDOG BLUES BAND - Same ( Zodiac ZLP 1033 ), New Zealand 1967
This is the "real" 1st pressing on the "purple Zodiac" label (it exists an early 2nd pressing on white / green label) of this great blues rock album from this, in Aukland / New Zealand based quartet. With Murray Grindley on vocals (later for a short time in the great band Space Farm - see for the "deluxe" RE in my auction), Tony Walton on drums, Neil Edward on bass (later in the Underdogs and Human Instinct) and the excellent (some fuzz) guitar leads from Louie Rawnsley. Comes in fully laminated flipback cover.... A great rough blues rock album - for the connoisseur !!!
The fully laminated flipback cover is in (top) very good to nearly mint minus (vg/m-) condition, yes it´s hard to grade - a previous owner gluing a sheet of a newspaper with the word "BLUES" on the backcover (see scan) and then made a "red border" !!!! Otherwise the cover is in top excellent plus condition minimum - seams are top, spine is top........so I would say, a very good plus grading is very conservative for this"sheet of paper" on the back cover.....
The record is in excellent minus to excellent (ex-/ex) condition, showing a few hairlines / longer hairlines (NO deep marks or scratches) - only here and there some soft surface cracklings in the background
