Description
Purchased over a year before the virus crisis, this is THE astonishingly RARE Thriller of 1970--NEW IN ORIGINAL SLEEVE--"Rappin' With The Jackson Five!" J5 Interview fan club 45 RPM Record. I absolutely refused to spin this record for fear of damaging it. Displaying only the wear of rubbing against the sleeve (as seen in photos), I also see the usual speedy manufacturing 'quirks' preserved in the pressed vinyl. I personally believe this is an unplayed virgin vinyl record made long before Virgin Atlantic Records came into the scene!
Front sleeve art shows the color Jackson Five group photo with gleaming white teeth and matching afros, and little Michael Jackson in the middle--bubbling over with energy & ideas--protectively encircled by the other Jackson brothers. The backside of the sleeve shows the usual merchandising with Black & White J5 photos with a dash of jive talk.
"If you really dig the Jackson Five...You'll Flip and Freak...YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS WILL GO WILD OVER IT!" They pushed their own: stickers, posters, & a private photo album--and all requests were sent to the Jackson Five Headquarters in Hollywood! Typically creased/bent sleeve corners can be seen in photos, but still very desirable for framing! You can find the audio of this record on YouTube.
