Click to view supersized image Now here's a rare little pup; released on Omnibus, number 239, in 1963, it lists in Goldmine's 4th edition at $300 NM; on a prime Nesmith collectors' site, a stock copy like this one is estimated at $400-$500. Did someone say "Byrdsy"? This single alone sounds as if it paved the way for the whole of country rock: it is SUBLIME, both the A-side 'How Can You Kiss Me' and the B, 'Just a Little Love.' Visually--nice; a very few scuffs, some lines--but no 'can feel it with your thumbnail' scratches at all, and a sort of odd amalgam of factory squiggles--very small--one can see; audibly, KEEPING IN MIND THIS 45 HAS NOT BEEN PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED or cleaned at all except with a quality 'wipe rag,' ahhhhh....VEDDY NICE indeed. Yes, just a very few pops (particularly when needle meets wax at the beginning of each side), maybe a slight, essentially quiet, zick-zick in rare places underneath the music, but it plays so nicely that I for one cannot detect anything taking away from the conservative VG/VG+ I'll give it. Same for the label, although VG+ is tempting here--only a slight storage 'white ring' beginning to form on the B side. A-side very close to pristine. The start-bid is in keeping with the quality, I believe, and the reserve price is, as well. If there's a better copy of this to be found in your own local Goodwill, good luck! Nesmith's mother (who, as you probably know, invented "Wite-Out") lived here in San Antonio and his early efforts received airplay here, thus the single popping up 43 years later, I reckon. I've played this single exactly once; it looks as if, total, it has been played fewer than a dozen times. In fine, if you want the Mike & John & Bill single--now's the time to bid!!! >>> *BUYER PAYS $3.65 S/H VIA MEDIA MAIL DOMESTIC; OTHERS PLEASE INQUIRE. Also, please check out our other book and clothing auctions--texts and textures guaranteed to please, including a full line of plus-sized women's clothing, men's XXX+, an eclectic variety of other garments (of high quality and style, need I add?), and a host of books: literary, Fortean, gay & lesbian interest, pop & alternative music, film, mythology, Western, Texiana, true crime, and much more. As well, check our collection of CDs, DVDs, and VHS tapes! Equally eclectic, they will fit hand-in-glove with any of the above, and multiple buys lessen shipping charges. Again, S/H $3.65VIA MEDIA MAIL.* << I DEFINITELY WOULD SUGGEST PURCHASING INSURANCE, THE AMOUNT TO BE BASED UPON THE WINNING BID, WITH THIS!! Also, please indicate if you would like this treasure shipped in another manner via USPS, as maybe it IS just too good for media mail!

Policies Combining Auctions/Combined Shipment Back to Top I love to COMBINE AUCTIONS and ship in one package to save you lots of money! I can combine auctions that end NO MORE than 7 days apart from each other unless special arrangements are made prior to your bidding. PLEASE email me and let me know this is what you would like to do AFTER THE 1ST AUCTION THAT YOU WIN HAS ENDED. I have no way of knowing that you are going to be bidding on more auctions, so please email me to let me know. I only ask that you make ONE payment for ALL the auctions, and I will be happy to combine the shipment in ONE package and send you ONE invoice.
NON-Paying Bidders Back to Top I will file a Non-paying bidder notice with eBay if I have not received payment within SEVEN (7) days from the end of the auction. PLEASE REMEMBER, IF YOU ARE MAILING A MONEY ORDER OR CHECK, IT MAY TAKE UP TO 5 DAYS OR MORE FOR ME TO RECEIVE IT...IT'S BEST TO MAIL THE SAME OR VERY NEXT DAY FROM YOUR WINNING AUCTION IN ORDER TO GET YOUR PAYMENT TO ME WITHIN THE SEVEN DAYS!!! If I still don't hear from you or receive payment, a credit will be filed with ebay and this will go against your record (called a "strike") and can effect your ability to bid in the future on ebay. Appropriate feedback will be left for all Non-paying bidders...and on a brighter note....for ALL paying bidders! I always appreciate your timely payment!
USPS Media Mail vs. USPS Priority Mail Back to Top Almost all of our books, videos and cds are sent USPS Media Mail, which can take up to 3 weeks or longer to receive. If you desire a faster delivery (usually 2 to 3 days)please email us and we can send USPS Priority Mail for a higher cost. All other items (clothing, etc.) are sent USPS Priority Mail for domestic customers and Global Priority or regular airmail for international customers. I don't ship domestic first class, as it can be even more costly than Priority Mail, so PLEASE don't ask. Thanks!
INTERNATIONAL Bidders Back to Top WE ship anywhere in the world and ONLY accept PAYPAL from all international buyers EXCEPT Canada, where Paypal and/or an international money order in US dollars is fine. PLEASE email me for a shipping and handling price if one is not listed. WE LOVE INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS AND WINNERS!
Returns/Insurance Back to Top I have a policy of NO RETURNS, unless I have misrepresented something. If your monitor has a different color than mine, it is NOT a good reason for a return, or if the item does not fit as you had hoped (NOT a valid reason). If you feel you have a legitimate reason for wanting to return the item, please contact me immediately so that we may discuss the issue, as there is a 10 day ONLY return policy (I must receive valid returns within 10 days of the end of auction). Insurance is always optional BUT I HAVE STARTED INCLUDING DELIVERY CONFIRMATION in all the auctions. This is to protect the buyer as well as the seller. If you desire insurance, please include this when paying, otherwise I will assume you do not choose to purchase it. I am in NO WAY responsible for any packages that are lost after they are mailed by me via USPS. Please understand that if you do not purchase insurance, I can NEVER guarantee 100% delivery (although I must say that the USPS has been extremely reliable).

On Feb-07-06 at 16:58:31 PST, seller added the following information:
What others call EX I call VG+ by the way. This is RIGHT THERE AT THE CROSSROADS--no, not The Twilight Zone's; the ur-Monkees'! BRILLIANT COPY, 40 YEARS AFTER THE FACT. On Feb-10-06 at 12:11:56 PST, seller added the following information:
20 hours, 16 minutes to go as I write; I just want to thank everyone who has looked at the auction, has the item on their watch-list, and/or is currently bidding on the single. Also, I had two good letters from a couple of excellent guys, which were refreshing and enjoyable; the second letter asked be for some high resolution shots--unfortunately, our camera is resolutely low-res. I should explain that I am not a dealer, and that I have described the Nesmith 7" to the very best of my ability. The worst thing in the world would be for someone to win this and not be happy with it. I'm sure you won't--I listened to the single once and once only (too valuable for my ears!), and, again, have described it to the best of my ability. Again--THANKS to all!
