Absolutely unique opportunity to fetch, on a 7-inch, the very best stand-out track from the Neptune Empire's elusive LP. "Wichita Falls", a Hammond drenched catchy gem, has been comped at least once (ie. "Collecting Peppermint Rainbows") and lots written about the identity of the band. In brief, they're thought to be an amalgam of Norwegian band Junipher Greene and a couple of English musicians, their album only being released in UK as a private pressing.
The present 45 then I take to be some kind of promo for the album, it could perhaps have been a giveaway, supplementary record to hand out for airplay etc. No idea if there ever was any special sleeve to go with the record. The B-side is one of the "bossa" inspired tracks from the album.
Nice playable condition with visible wear such as tiny hairlines, but nothing offensive.
A complete oddity it is, and not wont to hang around for long!
