Description

Collectable recommended Prog Rock album – a 1974 Australian original issue vinyl gem in great outstanding condition.

Vinyl Grade: +EX, excellent, lovely high gloss, a couple of very faint small lines on side 2 only. (heavy quality vinyl)

Sound Quality: +EX, the sound quality is +excellent with no surface noise, fully play tested. (+EX is highest grade I use for vintage vinyl that has been played)

Cover: NM, near mint gatefold cover, flat, no damage, no edge wear.

Labels: clear, no spindle wear.

An online review: “NEKTAR's 5th release in my opinion is one of their finest albums. A concept album based around the highs and lows of life in belonging to a cosmic circus. Lovers of Hawkwind will be pleased to know that Mr. Robert Calvert is the Ringmaster throughout the album and brings a very theatrical element. As you would expect this album is filled with the classic NEKTAR symphonic FLOYD-like twists with just enough German KrautRock influences to keep you amazed. Has Circus like atmospheres and sound effects in their instrumentation (tuba, trumpets, trombone and baritone sax). Several of NEKTAR's most beloved tunes came from this album "Astral Man", "That's Life" and "Early Morning Clown". Highly recommended prog rock!”

Records graded directly under very bright table light for the visual grade. Sound quality checked by playing to ensure that visual grade and sound quality are consistent.

Mint M and Near Mint NM: Looks perfect as new. N and NM is only appropriate for new reissue records and not for vintage vinyl that has been played, regardless of how perfect it may look.

Excellent Plus +EX: Lovely gloss, no visible scratches, scuffs or marks. Has been played but has been handled well and still in great condition. (highest grade that I use for vintage vinyl)

Excellent EX: Lovely gloss, shows some slight signs of wear, including light trace/hairlines from the inner sleeve, light scuffs or very light marks that you would not expect to hear as surface noise.

Very Good Plus +VG: Shows a few more very light marks than is allowable for EX so not quite EX. These signs of use would be expected to cause some light surface noise but not to detract from the music.

Very Good VG: Shows light scratches and marks and some that you would expect to cause surface noise, especially in soft passages, between tracks and during a song?s intro and ending but not so much as to overpower the music which can still be enjoyed.

Very Good Minus -VG: Shows significant wear and marks that you would expect to cause noticeable surface noise that detracts from the music.

Good G: In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records lacking much of the original gloss and with many scratches and marks that you would expect to cause very noticeable surface noise and clicks/pops that seriously detract from enjoyment of the music.

Postage: I package very very well and only charge the actual Aust Post cost.

Pleased to combine posting: 1 record is $8.95, 2 or 3 records is $12.20, 4 records to about 9 records is $15.35.
