Description

Like most labels, Warner/Reprise Records sent out promotional copies of their records to radio stations. A very small percentage of those albums were monaural pressings, now coveted by collectors and music fans alike. Mono commercial issues of most albums (at least those  recorded in stereo) were phased out by 1968, and now these promo-only monaural versions are even harder to find.


Original promo-only mono pressing of Neil Young's Time Fades Away album. This is a white label issue on Reprise M 2151, and includes the original lyric sheet poster insert.


White label record is near-mint. It's possible it is unplayed other than to test it for this listing.


Cover is a stock stereo one with a Mono sticker on the front. There was another round promotional sticker on the front right that's gone, but has left a stain. It's VG+ with some edge wear wear and part of a small date stamp on the front.
