Description

NEIL YOUNG Live at The Cellar Door hails from 2013 and is a SEALED U.S. 180 gram LP.  Neil Young's Live at the Cellar Door collects 13 recordings made during the singer's intimate six-show solo run at The Cellar Door in our nation's capitol between November 30th and December 2nd, 1970, just after he released his classic third solo album After the Gold Rush. The most interesting of the many fantastic gems found on Live at the Cellar Door is an extremely rare version of "Cinnamon Girl" performed on the piano rather than guitar.

This stellar  release, which features Neil performing on both acoustic guitar and piano, includes stunning live versions of After the Gold Rush material and solo performances of Buffalo Springfield classics "Expecting To Fly," "I Am A Child," and "Flying On The Ground Is Wrong" from the band's 1966 self-titled debut.

In addition, Live at the Cellar Door features raw, early performances of songs that wouldn't appear until later albums, including the rarity "Bad Fog Of Loneliness" and "Old Man". "Down By The River" rounds out this incredible set.

Live at the Cellar Door was recorded by Henry Lewy and produced by Neil Young. Mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering and pressed on 180g LP at Pallas, this is audiophile nirvana.
