This is an incredible example of a great album that has become increasingly hard-to-find. Initially pressed in small quantities, it has subsequently been bootlegged but this is a genuine original bought at the time of release. Some of the factors that Identify the record as original are the Matrix numbers, printed inner sleeve and embossed Warner Bros logo on the back cover (see photo).
Even though the outer cardboard sleeve is quite fragile and very lightly laminated, it has survived in fantastic condition. There are no tears, seam splits, ring-wear, shelf-wear or writing on the cover. There are some tiny hairline creases on the sleeve which are almost imperceptible. They can only really be seen if you hold the cover up at an angle to a light source. Some people would call the cover Near Mint but I will give it a very conservative grading of Excellent+ This record looks like it was hardly ever played and the all important printed inner sleeve that is unique to this original pressing shows no signs of damage at all. It is definitely in Near Mint condition.
The record itself is something to behold and certainly doesn't disappoint. Visually it looks pristine without any visible scratches, scrapes or scuffs. I have listened to the record from start to finish and it sounds incredible with almost no surface noise between songs. There are absolutely no skips, pops or crackles on this record which is very important as it is an acoustic album with plenty of quiet passages where background noise would be intrusive. You will not be disappointed with how this record sounds and without reservation I will grade it as Near Mint.
