NDIKHO XABA & THE NATIVES S/T '69 Trilyte Spiritual Jazz VERY RARE
Trilyte Records catalog number LR-7001, the self-titled 1969 LP from South African expatriate Ndikho Xaba and his group The Natives. A spiritual jazz grail, and a very fine record it is. Rumored to feature the first recorded appearance of Oneness of JuJu’s Plunky Branch. Cover is VG+, general wear, a couple of inches split at bottom of sleeve, near but not at opening, name in pen front and back. Vinyl is VG+, one mark (see pic), feel-able and audible but not loud, not intrusive and no skips (play-tested several times). The rest of the record approaches EX, no other marks, no surface noise, plays beautifully. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, naturally. Quite a rare LP indeed. Cleaned on the VPI. Bid with confidence.
