NAZI - German Picture disk - Patria Spezial 2017

From the estate of a gentleman I have acquired a small number of Nazi memorabilia, now out for auction.

This is a 1930s Nazi German Picture disk Patria Spezial No 2017. The Traditions-Musikkorps conducted by Riemann plays "Steinmetz-Marsch" and "Mit Bomben und Granaten"

These picture disks were issued in the early 1930s by "Nationaler Schallplattendienst", "The National Record Service" formed by Hitler's Reich's Ministry of Propaganda. The most famous of these records are of course those with the speaches of Adolf Hitler, Joseph Goebbels and others, as well as the "Was der SA Mann Singt" series. At no times these records were available in shops, but being given away as reward to loyal and thrustworthy followers if the Nazis. If this is true also about the record for auction here I can not say, these are military marches with pictures of famous and victorious German generals and rulers, all for the benefit of the German morale.

The records looks unplayed and unhandled. There are no scratches, but three of the records have small damages that do not affect the playing. No 2015 has a cracked center while 2015 and 2017 each has a small chip broken from the rim. Two of the records, 2017 and 2021 second copy also have one skip each.

The audio quality can not have good even when the records were new, and it has detoriated during the years. The records have a cardboard core where the picture is printed, and thin vinyl coatings where the music tracks are pressed. The cardboard has dried and contracted during the years, making the vinyl coatings to crease and leaving ridges that bumps when the record is played.

Shipping in a heavy-duty mailer for this item is US $ 13,50 within Europe, US $ 15 to the rest of the world. Insured shipping is $ 8 extra.
For shipments with a value of over $ 100 insurance and sturdy mailer is compulsory.
