Another from my personal collection very scarce 1st issue and collectable, purchased from new in 1977 original only played once or twice and then to record to tape and then stored in a case with the vinyl seperated from the sleeve and cover for protection. This is how I have always stored my records! This mega early original 1st UK pressing is really scarce and collectable to find. The audio is cristal clear and very vibrant and plays as good as a new vinyl in my opinion and graded at Near Mint throughout in my opinion. Barely ever played vinyl.  pressed from the  master A#2 and B#2 matrix endings with the earliest "1" to "1" Mother stampers. (Earliest for the most vibrant audio found on vinyl) This is complete with the original 1st issue unlaminated and textured Robert Stace cover in at least excellent plus condition, and with the original picture inner record sleeve!

The vinyl

The 1st thing to note! is that this is a mega thick and heavy original type of vinyl! Later press are much mor flimsier and less robust! The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable! and looks absolutely stunning ALMOST AS A NEW VINYL IN MY OPINION!

On visual inspection this looks stunning! I can't see any marks, at least nothing that would cause any loud or constant clicks or pops! In fact this has only ever been played a couple of times by me only! This has been stored in a case for the best part of 43 years! Any marks that could possibly be seen under a strong light would be sleeve removal/scuff  marks only!!

The Audio

I have played the record throughout at loud volume on a top system. The audio is clear and vibrant and plays through with no distortion or signs that this has been overplayed what so ever. In fact this looks and plays as good as the day in came out of the shop in my opinion. (only ever played a couple of times by me only) I would grade the audio at Near Mint.  Hear for yourself, the full recording in the player above.

please note! I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for the light isolated static here and there (not) consistant throughout the audio! This is a genuine 43 year old vinyl that would have originally been played on a 43 year old system!!

This vinyl has been stored in a case for the best part of 43 years and could benefit from a constant clean before each play! This would greatly reduce any static or crackle and greatly enhance the audio quality!

The Labels

These are the 1st UK issued 1st UK Pressed Mountain Records labels.  Barely played no more than a couple of plays! Note, I can't see any spindle or spidering marks around the spindle hole. This has had only a couple of plays by me only.

The record Sleeve

This is the original picture inner record sleeve with no splits or tears. The vinyl has always been separated from the sleeve and cover. This is how I always store my records.

The Cover

This is the original and more desirable 1st UK issue/ 1st UK Press unlaminated TEXTURED Robert Stace cover. No splits or tears.  In truly exceptional condition. Barely any real storagewear, you would have to look hard to notice any. (perhaps the slightest rubbing wear at the edges but not realy noticed unless looked for in my opinion.  No splits or tears SUPERBE 1ST PRESS COVER!! AT LEAST EXCELLENT PLUS If not better In my opinion!

HOW I SEND MY RECORDS!

THIS ITEM WILL BE SENT IN A LARGE BOX WITH CARDBOARD STIFFENERS THE ITEM IS ALWAYS PUT IS A POLY SLEEVE AND ENCASED IN THE BOX WITH PLENTY OF BUBBLEWRAP FOR ADDED PROTECTION (SEE PHOTOS)
