Description
Artist: NATHAN MILSTEIN, violin
with the CONCERT ARTS ORCHESTRA, Conducted by WALTER SUSSKIND.
Title: “Milstein Masterpieces for Violin and Orchestra”
Label: CAPITOL “FULL DIMENSIONAL STEREO” ~ SP-8528.
Labels are black with rainbow border, and silver text.
Year: 1960
Condition:
DISC: NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, our highest grade. Side One has a few paper scuffs that can be seen in bright light, but do not affect play. Appears to have been played one or two times at most, and handled with care. Labels are clean. Fidelity is superb. A gorgeous disc you will never need to upgrade.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG++. Laminated front artwork is clean and bright, with a few slight traces of ring wear just beginning to appear. Nice seams and spine, except for a portion of the spine missing approximately 4” at bottom of spine, and a tiny split (approximately ½”) at top right edge. Bumps at corner tips. Reverse is clean with no writing or stickers. Not a cutout. Overall a very nice jacket to accompany the superb disc.
Play graded to assure accuracy and verify the beautiful sound of this disc. I have included brief sound clips from Side 1/Track 1, and Side 2/Track 1 so you can hear and judge the quality. I am confident the winning bidder will be extremely pleased.
