I RECENTLY PURCHASED A LARGE COLLECTION OF GREAT CONDITION STEREO CLASSICAL LPs PRESSED IN THE LATE 1950s AND EARLY 1960s, INCLUDING TITLES FROM THE MERCURY LIVING PRESENCE, RCA LIVING STEREO, AND LONDON FFss 'BLUEBACK' CATALOGS - I'LL BE OFFERING THESE LPs FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1959 OR EARLY 1960s PRESS CAPITOL RECORDS FULL DIMENSIONAL STEREO U.S. PRESS LP containing performances of six various pieces for violin and orchestra as performed by virtuoso violinist Nathan Milstein with The Concert Arts Orchestra, Walter Susskind conducting. It is Capitol Records Full Dimensional Stereo catalog number SP8528, heavy rigid vinyl pressing, laminated front cover slick, black early 1960s Capitol Records labels with silver print, rainbow border, and logo on left side of labels. Opening bid price for this item was determined through a survey of previously completed eBay auctions. Condition of record is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks. Condition of cover is VG+ with two red 'x's in thin red marker near the top corners of the back cover, a small price sticker and a little writing near the top right corner of the back cover, a little contact and ring wear on the back cover, and a little wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no splits, tears, or other stickers. The original Capitol Records inner sleeve with color pictures of other then-current Capitol LPs is present and in good shape with some age discoloration along the edges and a very small split in the middle of one edge. This heavy rigid vinyl early press Capitol Full Dimensional Stereo LP would make a nice addition to any classical record collection!
