Condizioni : la copertina presenta un discreto ring wear soprattutto nel lato frontale e alcune tracce d'usura in particolare sui bordi e negli angoli; bello stato, VG+ / il vinile appare come mai suonato nonostante alcune leggere impressioni lasciate dal contatto con l’originale busta interna in plastica trasparente soprattutto nella zona non incisa intorno all’etichetta. L’ascolto rivela solo pochi lievi rumori di fondo in alcune tracce; grande stato, EX+

Condition : cover shows a rather evident ring wear particularly on the front and some traces of wear and tear along the edge and on the corners, VG+ / the vinyl looks as unplayed despite some slight impressions left by contact with the original inner sleeve in clear plastic especially in the dead wax. Listening reveals just a few minor background noises on some tracks, EX+

 GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : gli episodi del documentario erano dedicati a gruppi etnici a rischio d'estinzione. L’album contiene musiche nella maggior parte riflettenti alcune culture di gruppi etnici, in particolare quella dei Pigmei ed anche degli Aborigeni in Australia e degli Indios nel Sud America. Forte percussività e canti sia femminili che maschili caratterizzano la quasi totalità delle tracce. Talvolta questo binomio è arricchito dalla musica di strumenti a canne e a fiato. I canti descrivono attività quotidiane, gioia e dolore. Fuori da queste caratteristiche il brano "Aborigeni in Città" (a7) con sonorità convulse che bene raffigurano la caoticità della vita negli agglomerati urbani.

Notes : the episodes of the documentary were dedicated to populations at risk of extinction. The album includes music that mainly reflect some cultures of ethnic groups in particular that of the Pygmies and also of the Aborigines in Australia and the Indians in South America.  Strong percussiveness and both female and male singing characterize almost all the tracks. Sometimes this combination is enhanced by the music of reed and wind instruments. The chants describe daily activities, joy and sorrow. Out of these features the track "Aborigeni in Città" (a7) with convulsive sonorities well depicting the chaoticity of existence in urban areas.
