Murder City Devils : Feather Bed Whiskey Blanket Box Set (2009)
Sold Out / Out - of - Print on SUPER limited BOX SET, 1 of only 250 that were only available on their 2009 West Coast tour.
Each box contained re-issues of the band's first 3 full length LP's, plus a new pressing of the Thelema EP on 12" vinyl (original, it was released as a 10"). All the albums were pressed on White vinyl, which is exclusive to this set (regular retail re-issues were on marble grey vinyl). All the box sets also came with a "Jolly Roger" logo/Murder City Devils stencil, which was previously available only in the first 500 copies of the original pressing of "In Name and Blood".
THIS BOX SET CONTAINS UNIQUE, ONE-OF-A-KIND ITEMS:
First of all, the box is opened, but all of the records are still sealed in their original shrink, with unused MP3 download coupons. The Stencil is in perfect shape.
This box is HAND-NUMBERED #240 of 250.
There was a black envelope in each of the box sets were packed by the band and, in this box, contains presumably one-of-a-kind items as follows:
- (2) 4" x 6" color / developed photos of the band playing live, prominently featuring Spencer Moody on the microphone.
- (1) full-sized duplicate of the "Victim #3: Dann" promotional poster that was fashioned to look like a crime scene photo. These were released to promote the "In Name and Blood" album. My wife and I have an extensive Murder City Devils collection and we have never seen one like this outside of this box.
This set is Out-of-Print, Limited Edition, EXTREMELY Hard To Find, and Never Played! Grab it while you can.
Contents are in great condition with no visible damage. Box has a little bit of corner damage due to the fact that we bought this before the show and had to try and hold on to it whilst still doing our duty as fans and rocking out!
