Classic and hard-to-find original Chess grey label mono pressing of Muddy’s 1960 tribute to Big Bill Broonzy — one of the cornerstone Chicago blues LPs and an essential part of any serious collection.
Vinyl: Shows visible surface scuffs and scratches from use and age, as shown in photos. No deep gouges. It plays through fine on my setup with light crackle and surface noise in quieter parts, no skips. Labels are clean and legible.
Cover: Strong VG+ with light shelf wear and a solid spine. Colors still rich. No major splits or writing.
Overall, a nice player’s copy of a true blues grail — 100% original Chess LP-1444 first issue, not a reissue. Sounds raw and authentic, just like it should.
