Description
"Muddy Waters A.K.A. McKinley Morganfield", Chess ?2CH-60006 (1971) Stereo Double Gatefold Vinyl LP. I purchased this album new in the early/mid 1970's, lightly played. I have recently cleaned it and tested all tracks on all four sides, plays great. Has ring wear, shelf wear on the corners and edges. The bottom edge of the back cover has a 3 inch split. My name is written in ink on labels 1 and 3 (covered in the photos for the listing). Includes original color sleeves which have splits at the bottom, one has a 5 inch by 3.5 inch tear on the bottom corner.
The LPs are in new anti-static clear sleeves placed on the outside of the album cover in a clear 3 Mil outer sleeve with a cardboard stiffener (200 lb. corrugation) and packaged in a 12" LP shipping mailer (made from 200 lb. test corrugated cardboard with 32 lb. ECT (edge crush test).
I was very fortunate to greet and shake hands with Muddy Waters (McKinley Morganfield) while attending his live performance at the Euphoria Nightclub, May 1978 in Portland Oregon.
