Mozart Violin Concertos 4 & 5 Milstein Aust Columbia SAXO 5254 Magic Notes
Nathan Milstein plays and conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra in performances of the Mozart “Violin Concertos”, No’s 4 and 5. An original Australian stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAXO 5254), the labels are blue/green with silver border and “radio waves” and black Columbia and stereo flash and Magic Notes Logo. The record has a pressing bubble on side one that thumps softly for 8 or so revolutions and is of otherwise excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The recording is superb. The cover (English front/Australian back) is in excellent condition.
