Description

Rare Cetra Soria box set edition of Mozart’s Requiem in D Minor (K.626), conducted by Victor de Sabata.


Recorded in Rome at the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of Mozart’s death. Features world-class soloists Pia Tassinari (soprano), Ebe Stignani (mezzo), Ferruccio Tagliavini (tenor), and Italo Tajo (bass).


Set includes:

   •   4 LP records (green Cetra Soria Series labels)

   •   Original box case with booklet-style liner notes in English and Latin text of the Requiem

   •   Historical essay on Mozart’s final work


Condition:

   •   Records: [Insert grading – e.g., clean with light marks, untested]

   •   Box: Edge/corner wear, light scuffs, inner binding intact (see photos)
