Wilhelm Backhaus, piano; State Orchestra, Berlin conducted by

Fritz Zaun. Brilliant, fleet-fingered performance by the great

German pianist Backhaus in his prime. Original country

of origin edition (4-12" early 1940s gold label red seal

Electrola discs DB 5674/7. Plain storage album.

From the private collection of R. Peter Munves, who was in the record business as well as an avid collector for over 50 years and has decided to part with his beloved collection.
