Mozart Don Giovanni Klemperer UK HMV SAN 172
Nicolai Ghiaurov, Christa Ludwig, Gedda, Berry and others perform Mozart’s “Don Giovanni”. A 4 record set, this is an English stereo pressing on the HMV Label (SAN 172-5), the labels are gold with white dog and Angel logos, black His Masters Voice and “sold in the U.K.”. A couple of the records have some minor "rub” marking and are otherwise of excellent appearance and play and sound superb with some low-level surface noise. The box laminate has rubbed a little and the cloth is a little worn along the bottom edge, with other minor wear. The libretto is excellent.
