Description
Mountain Ash Band - The Hermit LP
Witches Bane - LK.LP.6036
(Original Uk pressing)
1976
Condition :- Cover looks (Excellent Plus) >> Looks beautiful and crisp and lamination shines. Just a couple of light thumb-creases at the front-right-middle, but all-in-all in lovely condition. Some one say Mint Minus. Sadly though it doesn't have the insert. I am not 100% sure if there was one with this LP, so I am only going off what is mentioned in the Rare Record Collector Price Guide, as it's stated that it did have one
Condition :- Vinyl Record looks as though it almost hasn't been played it is that beautiful, but it sadly has a pressing fault on the first song on Side 2, which is called (A Long Winter). I have tried to take a photo of the fault It looks like with this private pressed LP, that the fault was in the vinyl before the grooves were cut into it. Normally a problem like this would be spotted before it get's pressed up or sent out, but with a private company such as Witches Bane, I guess it just got over-looked. But I can tell you that it does affect the playing quality on several revolutions throughout where that fault is, and makes a loud click each time through the first-third of the song. It looks like a scratch, but it's underneath the grooves, not above it, hence why I look upon it as a pressing-fault, rather than one which happens after it's been originally purchased. So I have to sell this LP really just for the other 6 x songs on this LP and the wonderful cover condition.
( FREE POSTAGE AND PACKING TO UK AND EUROPE AND THE REST OF THE WORLD )
All my records will be sent by (Royal mail Special delivery) in the UK and (Royal mail International signed for) for abroad. Also I parcel up the records very well with non-bendable packaging and two cardboard stiffeners. Cruciform style packaging which will protect the record properly. I never use those bendable envelopes!!! I know how important that is to collectors, and I also separate the vinyl in it's inlay sleeve from the cover and place it on top of the cover when sending it which also prevents damage to the cover.
( I HAVE MANY MORE RARE PROGRESSIVE ROCK AND FOLK LP'S FOR AUCTION, SO PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER ITEMS)
