RARE - Mott The Hoople - Self Titled - 12" vinyl LP in good condition - there are some light surface marks which causes some light crackles - side 1 track 2 had 1 skip on playback. Gatefold sleeve has some wear marks and ringing see photos. For track listing and notes please see below. This is a 1st edition +A +B pressing - it is also a mispress see notes below. Mispressing of Mott The Hoople’s self-titled debut album, mistakenly including the track “The Road to Birmingham” as well as alternate versions of other songs. Island Records mistakenly used the wrong stampers to press the earliest copies of Mott’s first album; these copies include “The Road To Birmingham” at the end of Side 1 and “Backsliding Fearlessly” as the first track on Side 2 (omitting ”Rock and Roll Queen.”) Additionally, there is an alternate mix of “Laugh At Me”, a different version of “Half Moon Bay,” an extended intro to “Rabbit Foot And Toby Time”, and an alternate “Wrath And Wroll” with with a few bars of “God Save The Queen” at the end.
