Description

An original 1st press of 'Wildlife' on the UK Island label. Matrix 2/2. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original E J Day cover with the original Island 'Basing Street' address on the rear. Also included is the original generic white patent no. inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is very minor and infrequent. All we could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated spots. It delivers a very nice clean rendition.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and someone really has looked after this Lp down the years. Lovely clean front with very little sign of creasing at all - ditto the rear. The interior looks fine too - no issues at all. Edge wear is very light for this title. The spine is in excellent condition and all text still legible. A beautiful example and one that would be difficult to improve upon.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing and a couple of tiny seam splits.
