This is the 1969 Very Rare1st press recorded May-June 1969,  Morgan Studios Willesden London released Nov.1969,were       Island records mistakenly used the wrong stampers to press these earliest copies.   0nly a few were released before the mistake was noticed,  they mistakenly include  the tracks   "Road To Birmingham" at the end of Side1 and "Backsliding Fearless" as the first track on side 2,so ommiting the track   "Rock and Roll Queen" also alternate mix of " Laugh at Me"and a few bars of "God Save The Queen"at end of last track .  Track list on labels are same as later pressing but tracks on record are different  which make this  a very rare collectable                             1st Press Rare Matrix  is identifide by 9108+A and 9108+B Matrix, the standard Matrix pressing is  A//2 & B//1     Record Ex+ strong black shiny vinyl with top audio sound quality on all tracks plus after last track on this pressing                                             a few short bars of "God save the Queen"
Labels  Near Mint UK Textured Pink Island White Logo ILPS 9108 no writing or stickers a 1st Press variant Matrix 1st Press Rare Early Variant Stamped, later pressings started A//2 and B//1 .  Side One  ILPS + 9108 + A  Side Two  ILPS + 9108 + B Gatefold Cover  VG+ Firm Square with a firm square unrubbed word perfect text spine and excellent centrefold with group photos  no writing but on the front cover top left corner a small sticker  but  no edge rub. Inner Sleeves Blue Pink Island Logo Inner sleeve Very Good no splits plus another excellent inner with group photos which as been  inside for many years so will stay with record although its not for this record 
                    record removed from cover when posted and all in plastic sleeve                                                                                             a great 60s collectable fully complete and a1st Press with rare variant matrix, perfect for the rare record collection                                              The self-titled debut album
