MOTT THE HOOPLE - ALL THE YOUNG DUDES b/w ONE OF THE BOYS SWEDISH CBS S 8271 SUPERB MINT- , ESSENTIALLY AS NEW CONDITION.
ON OFFER HERE IS WHAT IS UNQUESTIONABLY ONE OF THE HANDFUL OF RAREST & MOST OBSCURE WORLDWIDE MOTT THE HOOPLE RELEASES. WHICH IS SAYING SOMETHING, THE BANDS DISCOGRAPHY IS QUITE THE MINEFIELD TO NAVIGATE WITH ANY HOPE OF COMPLETENESS.
YET THIS RELEASE FULLY WARRANTS THIS CATEGORIZATION. FOR WHAT THIS RELEASE OFFERS IS TWO OF THE BANDS MOST CLASSIC & ROCKING TRACKS, HOUSED IN A COMPLETELY UNIQUE SWEDISH ONLY PICTURE SLEEVE FEATURING A CLASSIC PIC OF THE BANDS DEFINITIVE 5 MAN LINEUP.
The front of the sleeve is in superb Mint - condition, the sleeve quite clean & unmarked. The back of the sleeve is in similar condition, clean & clear.
The vinyl warrants a grading of Mint-, there is essentially NO evidence of play revealed by a close appraisal both sides of the disc. I suspect some would grade it closer to Mint. I prefer to grade a bit more conservatively. There are NO SCRATCHES of any kind, it is an extremely nice condition condition vinyl, which plays superbly, with extraordinary power, warmth & detail.
The labels are bright & clean . See the photo's for evidence of this.
This is an excellent condition copy of an extremely rare MOTT THE HOOPLE 45 with an exclusive picture sleeve , who's to say when or if a cleaner copy may be showing up?
