Description
Iron Fist is Motörhead at their most savage and unhinged — fast, filthy, and completely devoid of restraint. Released in 1982 as the final classic-era album featuring the legendary trio of Lemmy, “Fast” Eddie Clarke, and Philthy Animal Taylor, this record hits with pure biker-bar violence from the opening title track onward.
Packed with snarling riffs, scorched-earth energy, and that unmistakable Motörhead attack, Iron Fist remains one of the band’s rawest and most aggressive records. Tracks like “Heart of Stone,” “America,” and “Speedfreak” sound like they were recorded with amplifiers actively catching fire.
This 2015 BMG reissue delivers the album on heavyweight vinyl with powerful modern mastering while preserving the dirt, grit, and blown-speaker intensity that made Motörhead legendary in the first place.
An essential slab of weaponized heavy metal from one of the loudest bands to ever walk the earth.
