Description
Nicely preserved and original copy of Motorhead's 1979 LP release of "Bomber" .This is one of the U.K. blue coloured vinyl versions that was issued.
The album is presented on the Bronze (EMI) Recording label - Catalogue number is BRON 523.
About the album:
The Outer Sleeve:
Remains in its original factory issue format with no writing rips or tears, bearing only the most minimal signs of ageing (please see photo's), there are some minor aspects of creasing around the outer edges of the album but nothing spoiling here.
The Inner Sleeve:
Is the factory pressed paper based insert in white and is in good order.
The Vinyl:
Presents on both sides with a very good clear glossy sheene.
Side One:
A close visual examination under bright lighting conditions does not reveal any surface marks or scratches that are of any concern to me,importantly, I have played this side and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is of very good quality and faithful. As with any vinyl - even new one can detect the occasional crack and pop consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust - particularly on quitter sections of the album - on intro's play off's, with the right cleaning cloth these can be eradicated. At no time on side one though is there any skipping, jumping or sticking.
On the play off section the word "STRAWBERRY" is stamped onto the vinyl. The Matrix number is BRON 523 A - 2 U
Side Two:
Similarly, a close visual examination under bright lighting conditions of side two does not reveal any surface marks or scratches that are of any particular concern to me, again, I have played side two and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is of very good quality and faithful. As previously mentioned, with any vinyl, one can detect the occasional crack consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust on quitter sections of the album - intro's and play off's.There is though, no skipping, jumping or sticking througout the entire duration of side two.
On the play off section, side two, the word "STRAWBERRY" is again stamped onto the vinyl. The Matrix number is BRON 523 B - 2 U
Overall, and in my considered opinion, this album plays to a very good audio standard for its vintage age.
The record labels are in very good order.
