Original UK Bronze label stereo press LP.

The third album by Motorhead, recorded in July to August and released in October 1979. The band had broken through with the previous album 'Overkill' in April appearing on TOTP and went back into the studio in July. They had ex-Rolling Stones producer Jimmy Miller at the helm, but his drug problems meant that many of the initial tracks had to be re-recorded in August. The initial pressings were issued on Blue and Black vinyl and re-issues in 1980 were released by Polydor. The band went on tour after its release with the famous 40 foot long Bomber lighting rig, the first rig to move across a stage during the show and a hell of a sight in 1980!!

This is the original pressing with the Bronze/EMI labels and the the early A-2U B-2U matrices & 5-MD 2-RP stampers.
  The Made In England glossy sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear and some very light storage rubbing/creasing on the outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain EMI company inner is intact & in EX condition.   The record is in visually EX+ condition, with no nasty marks or scratches and only a couple of  faint & wispy hairlines and one or two small needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, undamaged, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud crackle, pops or hiss & no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some light background noise during the run in grooves. Overall, it is a really, great loud & clear listen.
  The matrix nos. are; BRON-523, A-2U STRAWBERRY mother stamper 5-MD, B-2U STRAWBERRY mother stamper 1-RP. This is one of the early pressings of the original 1979 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!
