Here is a real one! NOT a bootleg or counterfeit copy! This is a genuine Leatur Records 3rd pressing produced and distributed by the band before they signed to Elektra Records. According to various sources there were only 2000-3000 total over three original pressings Learhur Records pressing Lps ever made.
This is one of the survivors of the 2000-3000.

COVER CONDITION: Cover and insert. Cover is liberally graded at VG due to stain at bottom front cover and slight wear. No splitting of cover spines at all. Original insert is kinda hard to come by but see the photos it’s VG due to wrinkles.
VINYL CONDITION: Record is totally a VG! No better I’m not liberally grading it’s VG. IT HAS ONE SKIP ON “”MERRY GO ROUND” AT FIRST CHORUS! I VPI cleaned this many times the skip didn’t go away it’s a little scratch causing it. There are many light surface marks and scuffs as well as some hairline scratches and the one that causes the skip. NO WARP! A couple large scratches, I photographed the worst ones. Vinyl is still glossy for the most part.
PLAY QUALITY:
Play tested on my vintage Techniques turntable with a good Otrophone stylus after VPI cleaning five times. Other than the one skip this copy plays better than it looks. You’re buying a VG vinyl so there is some light surface noise in between tracks and on the quiet parts. There’s light pops over the real scratches. The over all fidelity is quite good and FU@KING LOUD! it’s still a rocking sounding copy. I spun this fully a few times all the way through and it’s not annoying or offensive sounding for a hard metal record. It’s about the same condition as my first pressing in my collection. Still enjoyable and didn’t bum me out to listen to it. If you desire an audiophile copy of any of the original Leathur Records pressings prepare to spend big bucks nowadays. I’ve done my best to describe the sound. If I thought this copy was too jacked up to play I would not be listing this online and it would go cheap at the record shows I sell at. Not perfect but not too thrashed enjoy owning.
