Description
This auction is for the very first Motley Crue LP released in 1981 on their original label, Leathur Records, prior to signing with Elektra. This LP is the second press of three under the Leathur label. Some characteristics of the 2nd press are :
*4000 copies pressed (vs 17,000-20,000 third press)
*disc label is white with black lettering (vs black with red/ivory lettering on third press)
*Side A matrix # : DK-1004-A PRC-C-1-1 kdisc
*Side B matrix # : DK-1004-B PRC-C-1-1 kdisc
Also included is the lyric sheet which features a band photo on the opposite side. The LP and all contents (jacket, lyric sheet, disc) are in near mint condition. The LP has always been stored in a protective sleeve in a dry, climate-controlled environment. I hope the pictures give a clear representation.
