Description
Super rare white label promotional only 12" single on Elektra from 1982. This is the only single released to promote Too Fast For Love. It was a rush job by Elektra's marketing team to try and promote their newly remixed first album. Elektra really didn't know what to do with the band so they hardly pressed any of these at all. They were quickly released in a generic white sleeve with a simple "Motley Crue" sticker slapped on one side.
This record features three great tracks: Live Wire and Take Me To The Top on the "A" side and Merry Go Round on the flip. It was designed to be a DJ promo but be realistic, how many radio stations do you know of in 1982 that would have played the Crue???
My copy has never been opened and is still sealed tight. These pieces are incredibly hard to find in any condition much less still unplayed. It's been in my collection since 1982 and I never opened it since I've got (and prefer) the original Leathur mixed album.
