Description
Here is a remarkable copy of this album from 1967. VLP 9174.
Please see my photos for condition of the cover. The back of the cover appears yellow in one photo and white in the other - in reality, it's off-white towards cream, lighter at centre, a bit darker towards the edge, with the outline of the record shown slightly. Nothing is unstuck or torn, and there is no writing, and no stains. Corners show wear, and the top right has been bent-over, at a point just to the right of the "o" in "mono".
Inner sleeve is not original, being EMI.
Condition of the record? Labels look fine to me, with a few spindle marks, on one side more than the other. The record shows NO scratches or similar marks - I have inspected it in good daylight, with a pair of over-strength glasses that I keep for doing this. I have also listened to most of the first side and some of the second, heard only three or four soft clicks, which my inspection just-now suggests, were due to some little white specks, which I have brushed off.
I am happy to accept returns, if things are not as I have said.
Rare Record Price Guide says £100 for a mint copy of this, and an excellent copy would rate £80.
I paid a fair bit for it, but could accept bids of (or over!) £40.
