Description
THE COMPLETE BLUE NOTE RECORDINGS OF THE TINA BROOKS QUINTETS, Mosaic MR4-106, 4 LP's with booklet. Number 1103 of an edition limited to 7500.
Condition of records is VG++, no scuffs, no scratches, very few spindle marks, plays very clean & quiet. Box shows slight wear on front, but is otherwise intact. Booklet in very nice shape.
The magnificent "True Blue" is one of four sessions included in this set, the other three (of equally high caliber) went unreleased until Mosaic issued them in this essential set. Sidemen include Lee Morgan, Freddie Hubbard, Blue Mitchell, Johnny Coles (trumpets), Jackie McLean (alto sax), Sonny Clark, Duke Jordan, Kenny Drew (piano), Doug Watkins, Sam Jones, Paul Chambers, Wilbur Ware (bass), Art Blakey, Art Taylor, Philly Joe Jones (drums).

M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed.
VG = Very good to excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
G = Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
