Morrissey - 'Sing Your Life' Promotional 7" - 1991

This is one of the five Morrissey singles which were promoted in the UK by a 'retro' style HMV 7" sleeve and record labels. The front of the sleeve is very similar in design to the retro 10" used later to promote the 'We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful' single. The series of 'retro' 7" promotional singles were not issued in large numbers and, consequently, are not often seen available for sale; this is an extremely rare opportunity to obtain one of these which has been preserved in mint condition (see below).

The vinyl and labels are in mint condition, with no visible marks on the glossy vinyl or labels and the record is almost certainly unplayed. The record has been stored outside of the very nice thin paper sleeve since being in my possession, which has helped to preserve the outer sleeve; there are no splits or ringwear in the sleeve as a result. There are also no significant creases in the outer sleeve, but for the mildest of 'rippling' in a few places near the mouth which can barely be seen. Overall the outer sleeve also deserves a grading of mint condition since there is no visible sign of wear anywhere. A truly exceptional and remarkable example which could probably not be bettered.
