Morrissey - Satan Rejected My Soul UK 7" TEST PRESSING

I don't need to boast about how rare this is, if you're reading this... you know it's rare. Heck, the official 7" of this release is rare in it's own right... but this is a test pressing! Not many of these were made, I'd venture guess less than 5 were produced by Island records (Morrissey's label at the time).

Test pressings of Morrissey releases are extremely rare and you don't see them for sale often. In fact, Smiths test pressings are far more commen. Unlike the Rough Trade test pressings of The Smiths, Morrissey test pressings were not used for any kind of promotion, they were only manufactured for their true purpose: to test the pressing of the vinyl. Usually 5-7 copies were made for Morrissey, the producer and record label staff for inspection purposes.

This particular test pressing has no label and is in absolute mint condition. It's never been played by me. There are some marks on the inner circle (non-playing area) as is common with test pressings. There is a catelog number that's etched in that reads: IS 686 B1. It comes in a plain white sleeve with "Morrissey - Satan Rejected My Soul" written on by someone at the label. Please note when handling this record that the sleep opening is at the bottom. "Now I Am A Was" is on the b-side.
