Description
The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging in a 'box' mailer with the record outside the sleeve to avoid seam-splitting. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.

Morrissey - 'Have-A-Go Merchant' UK Promo 7" - 1995
Catalogue no. RDJ 6400 - Parlophone Records
This promotional 7" was released in very limited numbers in the UK to coincide with the release of the 1995 'World Of Morrissey' album, and had artwork which was unique to this 7" and the equivalent promotional CD. This 7" rarely turns up for sale and was listed in Record Collector's 'Top 50 Morrissey Rarities' article in November 2009; appearing to be scarcer than the CD promotional equivalent, which was probably issued in larger quantities. While the tracks listed on the sleeve and record labels are 'Have-A-Go Merchant' and 'Whatever Happens, I Love You', the tracks on the vinyl are actually 'Boxers' on the A-Side and 'Have-A-Go Merchant' on the B-Side. The record itself differs from the standard 'Boxers' 7" release, which has the same tracks as this promotional 7", in having distinctive red record labels. Information in the Record Collector article suggests that 'Have-A-Go Merchant' was originally earmarked for release as a single accompanied by the sleeve artwork seen here, which makes this unique sleeve effectively unreleased 7" single artwork. This is a rare chance to obtain an extremely collectable original Morrissey promotional 7" which has been preserved in superb condition (see below).The sleeve is in near mint condition with no creases or significant signs of wear, even at the corners. The vinyl and labels are also in near mint condition, having only the very lightest of thin 'hairline' surface marks in a few places on the otherwise-glossy vinyl surface. There are no visible marks at all on the red labels. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
