Hi everyone !
Todays listings will be somewhat common, and some that are not very common These are part of my record collection that spans nearly 28 years !!! My collection contains mostly 45’s and quite a lot of 33 1/3, and quite a few goodies on 78s, too !! (sorry , no classical music, though).
Notice to buyers : You will notice my even LOWER starting bid prices, so that EVERYONE can afford to own these great records. Perfect for buying, trading, and selling !!! And each record will come in it's own paper sleeve.
HAVE YOU ANY IDEA how hard to find this extended play 45 by Moondog is????? VERY RARE and made in the early 1950s on MARS records, # MREP-A2 ! Moondog performs as a part of Tony Schwartz's second presentation in a series of on-the-street recordings - part of the New Yourk 19 project . Moondog is a blind street musician, who's musical influence is of both Oriental and Occidental music. He later recorded for the Jazz label PRESTIGE in the late 1950s, and this is his recording before the 1954 album on EPIC Moondog and his friends. His wife Suzuko, has transcribed much of his music, and sings and accompanies him in several selections. This, of course, has it's ORIGINAL e.p. album cover, and although there is some yellowing, there are NO SEAM SPLITS !!! Disc itself is in VG/VG+ condition. Selections featured on this album are; Avenue of the Americas / 2 West 46th street / Lullaby (2 W 46th Street) / Fog on the Hudson / Utsu / On and off the beat / Chant and From one to nine . And by the way; sound quality is VERY GOOD for a disc OVER 50 years old !!!!!

I visually grade all my records very conservatively with a 10-point grading system: AND, all of my records are free of tape, writing, tears, stains, warps, stickers, number stickers, unless otherwise noted. I will NEVER sell ANY record at ANY time that is lower than a grade 4 (because I don’t have any !!)
Here's what the grading means:
10 = MINT
9 = Near MINT
8 = Better than VG, But below NM
7 = Very Good
6 = Better than Good, But below Very Good
5 = GOOD
4 = Better than Poor, but below Good
3 = POOR
2 = Really trashed
1 = Frisbee !!
I will now, for your information, give you a description of the Grading conditions that I have placed on these records :
MINT = Never played, awesome surfaces with NO defects !!
N MINT = Beautiful labels, beautiful playing surfaces, but has been played slightly.
VG + = Same as above, but played a bit more. Just a small amount of VERY SLIGHT / light surface scratches.
VG = Labels clean, but VERY SLIGHT ring wear. Playing surfaces show a little bit more light surface scratches / or very light surface scuffs.
VG - = Labels have light / medium ring wear, light surface scratches/ or scuffs. Has been played quite a bit.
G + = Labels have medium to heavy ring wear, many light surface scratches/ or many scuffs. Has been played alot, but still is an exceptable copy.
G = Labels have wear, and some wear damage. Surface scuffs and scratches are quite prevelent ( I will RARELY sell any of these, unless it is rare !!).
In the U.S. Shipping/Handling will be regular mail @ $3.95 Insurance is optional at $ 1.50.
CANADA / INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE : Any winning bid OUTSIDE the United States, will be charged a $8.00 flat rate to cover shipping / handling . CANADA will be a flat rate of $5.50. Insurance will be an additional 1.50
