Description
Original yellow label, deep groove. Both labels have 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C. address; 446 W. 50th St. address on the bottom of the back cover. 8 tracks on each side. Recorded in 1956. Moondog a.k.a. Louis Thomas Hardin plays various reed and wind instruments, percussion instruments and piano. On Side 2, Track 8 Hardin does a monologue with percussion instruments. Ray Malone, tap dancing, French horn on 1 track. Some unidentified monologue on Side 1, Track 8; some chanting on Side 2, Track 4. Rare.
Cover: VG(-) Scotch tape applied to the entire top edge with a 1/2" exposed split at the spine. Some edge and corner wear. Old, Original price sticker on the upper spine corner of the back cover. Light crease near 1 corner of the back cover. Light aging and light soil for ordinary handling on the front and back covers. White spot in the center of the jacket is from the camera flash.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface though played several times with care. Side 1, Track 2, 2 faint clicks. Side 2, Track 8, some light clicks towards the end of the Track, barely audible. Audibly checked.
