Up for auction here is a very rare bit of 10-inch vinyl: the demonstration record for the Moog 900 Series Electronic Music Systems. Narrator Ed Stokes walks us through some of the Moog Synthesizer's capabilities, and Walter Carlos supplies the audio examples. On the B-side are some excerpts from the pioneering album Carlos had recently released, "Switched-On Bach". Please note: This is a MONO record. I'm not at all an expert in grading records (I'm more accustomed to comic books), but I think this would rate at least a Very Good...it looks like it's hardly ever been played. A few scuff-looking marks are visible on the vinyl, but some of these might actually be dirt...I'm not certain. This is a very important record in the history of electronic music (and perhaps ripe for sampling?). Shipping is FREE in the USA and $12 elsewhere.
