Moodymann is one of the guises of Kenny Dixon Jr, Detroit house supremo and artist of rare musical talent with plenty political gusto to match. Blending his taste for techno, house, soul and disco, KDJ has produced some of the most stunning pieces of music of the past decade.

"I don't make music for the masses to dance to, I make music for the small majority that listens."
