Monty Python's Contractual Obligation Album INSCRIBED & SIGNED BY GRAHAM CHAPMAN
Attention all Monty Python/Graham Chapman Fans, Enthusiasts, Connoisseurs and Aficionados!!What we've got here is a very unique First Pressing of Monty Python's Contractual Obligation Album Humorously Inscribed & Signed by the late, great Graham Chapman!
In addition to his signature, Chapman also wrote a witty inscription which continues the album cover's pre-printed "hand-written note" gag from Eric Idle and Terry Jones, making this a truly one-of-a-kind piece of Monty Python memorabilia!
PRE-PRINTED ALBUM COVER "HANDWRITTEN" TEXT:
"Can T.G do a nice eye-catching cover to help it sell?" E.I. "Not really worth it" -- T.J.
GRAHAM CHAPMAN'S INSCRIPTION:
"I shall do my best anyway" Graham Chapman *He also amusingly noted that he made (an error.) while writing the inscription.
THE SIGNATURE AND INSCRIPTION HAVE BEEN AUTHENTICATED BY BECKETT AUTHENTICATION SERVICES. CERTIFICATION NUMBER: AE12658
Auction includes the original signed album cover, original vinyl record, original inner paper sleeve, and the Letter of Authenticity from Beckett (There's also a Beckett verification label affixed to the lower right corner of the back side of the album cover.)
This is from my personal collection and I believe Chapman signed it in 1980. The album has been sealed in a protective cover in storage for the past 35-40 years.

Condition Notes:
The album cover (outter jacket/sleeve) looks really nice! The only blemishes I see are some minor corner bumps. The vinyl record itself has some minor imperfections, but, honestly, these records are a dime a dozen, the obvious value here is the cover. (see pictures)
Since Chapman sadly passed away in 1989, this is a rare opportunity to own such a unique piece of Python history!
