Minty clean, hard to find exact 2ndpress of impossible rare 1969 private *monster* status prog psych underground collectible by really strong German outfit who feature craft adventurous long tracks filled with fuzz-box effect hammond organ, much in the same style as Mike Ratledge with early Soft Machine, had they not gome into jazz and stayed with a prog psych direction...tHe $1000+ price tag on the nowhere to be found first pressing may actually be warrented music wise...one of the best of the fabled 'Krautrock' scene, could of easily been a legend on the Brain label, if only.... Comes with a nice large insert of color photos of the band from 1969.
Exceedingly rare (only 150 made) self-released 1969 album by a trio of organ/vocals, bass and drums was made available again in a limited exact repro which sold out relatively quickly, given the fact the music is essentiaol to early progressive-psych heads and virtually no one owns a first press. Obviously very influenced by early Soft Machine, this album was recorded live to stereo tape and has a really raw feel to it. The band later metamorphosed into the equally obscure Sixty Nine (a drum and keyboards duo). Though a completely different animal is Trikolon over the often meandering Sixty Nine. For TRIKOLON is live, garage driven prog rock with organ, bass, and drums. It features some English vocal tracks, the rest are long passages - very adventurous with a pure psych-underground edge. The 14:30 "In Search of the Sun" and 7:22 "Trumpet for Example" are both excellent, while "Blue Rondo" is yet another raw fuzzed-organ creature..."Hendrik's Easy Groove" is a 11:05 is another keys infested workout. This is a well respected album among prog collector circles. Saw a first press for sale in Germany around 15 years ago (eggspensive), and never spotted another one anywhere... ever... again.
