My vinyl/cover grading follows the Goldmine® Grading Guide (http://www.goldminemag.com/collector-resources/record-grading-101), using only the 8 basic grades (M, NM, VG+, VG, G+, G, F, P) described there.  I do not use the alternate symbols M-, E, or VG- (I use NM, VG+, and G+), and I do not create additional, intermediate grades by appending plus or minus signs to the basic 8.  Past feedback says I grade very conservatively...
