It is with sad regret that the World has lost Davy Jones. One of my favorites. He will be missed!! I planned on eventually letting much of my Precious Monkees stuff go due to old age and ya can't take it with you syndrome. It's tough but if you are a fan/collector I will be offering lots of goodies in TOP CONDITION!! Offered here is a super cool possibly one of a kind item!! This is the Now Legendary Monkees Headquarters LP with the Beard Cover(and if that's not enough this one is autographed by Davy Jones)!! The beard cover has always been speculated with rumors and false accusations.On the back cover a photo that wrongly identified one of the Engineers of the record was later replaced with a photo showing all the Monkees sans Davy with Beards!!It obviously was done later and after sales slowed down abit as it is far far rarer that the First Issues. It is also far rarer as a Stere Issue(I have seen far more Mono issues w/the Bear Photo).When the Monkees reunited for the First time(The 3 of them) I was luck enough to attend their concert in Pittsburgh and later meet Davy for a short time. He signed a few of my items most graciously! This was one he signed. Interestingly instead of signing the front he turned it over and signed his name after the printed authographs of each band member that appear on all Headquarters LP covers. I thought that was quite neat and classy. It is a beautiful Signature(See Scan). Now condition of the LP is Close To Near Mint. Cover is a sweet VERY GOOD+++. A slight pen scribble has been erased from the front(small). This is a really sweet unique Monkees LP for any SERIOUS Collection. Good Luck.
