Description

Seller Background (Largely irrelevant to many, but Important to some :)

I see the same record selling around the net for $250.00 minimum, even in poor shape. It's pretty rare. However, I'm starting at $1.99 and taking what the market will support for it. I'm simply selling some records to trim my collection before relocating cross country. I'll be adding more 45's and LP's soon.I lost hundreds of rare records about a decade ago in Memphis,TN when I totaled my SUV in the middle of relocating. The lesson I learned was... travel lighter next time. I'm mostly just keeping a few old items with sentimental value, my clothes, and the laptop I'm typing on. I bought my first piece of "old" wax ("The Birds, The Bees, and The Monkees") in 1987. I was ten years old then, I was a heavy "crate digger" when I bought it. However, my obligations don't allow much time for enjoying music as much these days. I will try to make a recording of the record ASAP for those concerned with the quality. Happy bidding!

Music Info:

Rare soul single released over 36 years ago by Dynamic Records. Dynamic ( DRC) was a small label based in Rochester, NY which pressed a very short run.

Standard Grading Scale:

Sealed : Jacket is sealed shut in shrink wrap, disc is sold ungraded or "as is".

NM or M- : A record in this condition appears absolutely unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. We seldom use this grade.

VG++ : A record in this condition may have one or two visible imperfections, but these will be of a purely cosmetic nature (i.e. sleeve scuffs or other superficial marks) and will not affect play. A VG++ record will have no scratches.

VG+ : A record in this condition will have a few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, superficial marks, and light scratches. The presence of a single light scratch is enough for us to grade an otherwise markless record VG+; a VG+ record will have no more than a few such scratches.

VG : A record in this condition will show the kinds of imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. There may be a number of light scratches and other marks, but a VG record will not bear any scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.\

VG- : A record in this condition will have a number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force us to give a record this grade, as will the presence of even one scratch deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

G : A record in this condition will have pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.
