Description
From Japan this is Atlantic Records P-4517-8, The Modern Jazz Quartet Concert In Japan Volumes 1-2, two records containing the complete live recordings from Tokyo on March 14, 1966. These 2 records were sold separately but collected here as a complete set. The records are in near mint condition, showing almost no signs of wear. Both records play quietly throughout. The covers are excellent and intact. The labels are excellent with little or no spindle marks. The inserts are excellent with sharp edges. The obi on volume two is excellent as well but the obi is missing from volume 1. The records were played on a Linn Sondek LP12 and cleaned on a VPI 17. These are excellent collector's grade copies of these great live recordings offered together for your collecting convenience.
