Description
This is an original UK privately pressed record - limited to 500 copies, of the debut 12 track album
by Northamptonshire Folk trio Mithras titled 'Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed'.
It was a home made recording from 1974 by Paul Marshall, mostly at the Old Sun, Nether Heyford.
Only 500 copies were produced for sale around the folk clubs but unfortunately the original master tape
was lost by the pressing company so few original vinyl copies exist.
Mithras released a second album on Cottage Records in 1976 but this is the much rarer of the two.
The sleeve is also signed by the 3 members Bob Plews, Margaret Longhurst and Jeremy Eddon.
The sleeve is in good condition, there is some light marks on the rear but the front is excellent.
The disc itself has only a couple of very light marks but plays excellent and I would grade it a strong VG+
